Programme Overview

In adherence with NEP, a student can opt to pursue this programme as 3 year regular degree or as 4 year Honours degree or as 4 year Honours with Research degree .

It is an undergraduate full time 3 year programme which aims to provide students with specialised skill sets in different fields like accounting, finance, taxation, management, law including corporate law, basic computer skills and environment.

The programme aims to provide detailed knowledge in the subjects of accounting, finance, taxation as well as managerial accounting skill etc. The course is designed in a way to enable the student to make use of the latest technology to perform their work quickly and efficiently. The program has been designed to offer eligible candidate’s specialization in a wide range of finance, managerial and accounting skills, while at the same time build competence in a particular area of business.

Programme Objectives

Detailed knowledge in the field of accounts, management, taxation, law, etc. Demonstrate effective communication skills through development of listening and writing skills.
Develop critical thinking capacity to interpret various accounting, management general practices and use it for the process for improvement and knowledge enhancement.
Develop problem solving skills by understanding the practical problem, using the relevant analytical skills and give an appropriate solution
Develop scientific reasoning ability with the help appropriate technology in the field of accounts, management, taxation, etc.
Learn to be part of a team, develop reflective thinking along with sensitivity towards group members, leading to development of leadership and team management skills.
Develop an understanding of ethical awareness in all fields accounting and finance along with a conscious call towards sustainability of corporate accounting and taxation etc related issues.
